If however, the work itself is only temporary, you should look into night classes for a skill that's not.

It might be hard to make a living like that in a lot of the US. But if you can swing it, go for it.

What kind of temp job? If they're giving you dishwashing jobs, not really.

If you're bouncing around offices and not getting hired, it's definitely you. Office types strike me as superficial...

I was self-employed before the pandemic and that's basically what I did. I would just take short jobs here and there with no real obligation to anyone past completion, though I had a few clients who gave me consistent work.

Full-time work just isn't for me. Literally nothing about it appeals to me but the flexibility and freedom of taking what jobs I want from who I want when I want is so goddamned perfect. Only bad thing is that the pandemic threw a huge wrench in that, but it's not like I'm the only one feeling that particular pinch.
