Ive done risky things over Reddit and Craigslist and forums. Giving nearly half a grand to someone and hope they send me the item? Done that. Shipping first in a higher value trade? Done that too. Done like a hundred things like this and never got scammed. Bought hundreds of things in person on Craigslist and have never had anyone try to scam me.

ebay though I have sold like six things and got scammed on two of them. Item never made it when it had tracking and I saw it did and also sent counterfeit item when I sent something that I got straight from the publisher.

Even buying on eBay I end up having to return so much crap. Bought an Apple TV 5 and got sent a 2. Bought a Apple watch 3 and got sent a 0. Bought a MacBook and another Apple Watch and got nothing and also bought books and frequently have wrong ones sent.

Ive still gotten a lot do good deals on eBay though, but no clue how people sell without getting scammed constantly.
