if he was "polling well his entire career" then why did it take him 50 years in politics to become president? he lost in '88, he didn't come close in '08, and he didn't even try in '92 or '04 because he knew his numbers weren't that great.

all the primary numbers indicate that he won the primary because all of the other moderates consolidated behind him and warren didn't do the same for bernie. nothing you said refutes that. deal with it.

Jeb was falling apart long before the primaries. He was a shit candidate. Romney was seen a boring generic suit; Mccain was a legitimate threat. Jeb was literally the establishment people hated. We didn't want another Bush and Jeb had the personality of a door stopper. Nobody liked Jeb. Not even Jeb likes Jeb.

It's not easy to win an election. Biden last campaigns were while was unknown (he's known in Politics but, the average voter likely has not.). Kinda have to have a reason to vote for you. People dont want to vote for some random nobody. In 2008 he was a small fish in a big pond: Obama was running.

2020 is different because people know Biden. The VP of Obama goes along way. Biden is known now. He has done a lot to bring himself to everyones attention. Not hard to understand.
