I came up with the plot, which is basically a group of people that discover a ritual that grants the user genuine free will. It's vaguely inspired by Persona and if I make it a fanfic then it's cool because I can use story beats from the series and whatnot, demon contracts and confidants being the two things I want to use. If I don't make it a fanfic it will probably be a bit realistic, which may or may not be harder to make interesting especially since it has fantasy elements that are hard to make... real.

Admittedly I don't have anyone to read it, and a fanfic can at least be easily found by people who want to read
