Whatever the real story here is, it's unclear. Hopkins claims he never recanted, but the USPS IG claims he recanted. Regardless, it sounds like he's now standing by his story.

If he did receive a bribe and has fabricated stories that undermine the faith and credibility of the foundations of our democracy, he should be charged with acts of treason.
