I beat FF3 and 7-10. I did all the side quests and got to max levels in all of them. But 8 is the only one I never replayed, for some reason. I beat it one time and about 15 years ago. I remember not being very good at it, and was only able to get all the summons because the super bosses at the end of the game or something had them for me to Draw? I got the Lionheart, and maybe another final weapon? Everyone is pretty much at level 99 now, but I havent picked it up in so long.

So. If Im going to replay it, do I do it on my PS3 or should I get it for Switch? If the latter, do I install it digitally and can I use my GameCube controller?

I assume PS3 is not the remastered edition?

So I just picked it up again, playing on my PS3. Went to start but my disc one freezes immediately. Gonna buy another copy online. In the meantime, I decided to pick up from my last save. Everyone is level 100 except Selphie. So I am on the Island Closest To Hell grinding. I have no recollection how the game works.

Marlboro keeps murking me. All I want to do is get Selphie to 100. I keep spamming Degenerator against enemies.

How do I know what weapons I have equipped? And how do I add elements to my weapons or armor ?

Like, why is Squall absorbing some attacks when Quistis is getting murked?

Been years since I played myself. Junctions sounds like the answer to most of your questions. You junction a GF to a character, then various spells to stats to improve them. This includes elemental/status attack and defense.

Initiative GF ability junctioned helps with Malboro, as does pain, berserk, sleep, confuse on status defense - you can usually use degenerator on them before they get a turn like that, and those defenses should keep you alive if you do get hit by bad breath.

I think it says in the status menu which weapon you have equipped, these can be changed at junk shops in towns.
