I think my respect for this man has grown a lot lately. Anyone knows personal tragedy is one of the biggest impacts to a person's character and morals.

Pretty sad rightists have to now mudsling him with rumours and baseless crap like Hunter Biden and 'creepy Joe' memes as he tries to compete in the race.

Best that got me his support is when he didn't deny the accusations levelled at him. All Biden said was something like 'don't vote me if you don't believe in me' and that he should have handled his treatment of others better (yes, like not sniffing their hairs). I don't know but this kind of profound statements of actually acknowledging his flaws and not trying to put up some kinda fake ego defense earns my respect immediately.

In his third and best shot at the US presidency, Mr Biden has positioned himself as a healer of the nation's divides who can empathise with the pain of racial justice protesters and the heartbreak of the 200,000 families who have lost loved ones to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Yet the avuncular 77-year-old politician, well-known for his folksy charm and blunt comments, is far from infallible after nearly five decades in politics.
Overcoming tragedy
Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, in 1942, Joseph Robinette Biden Jr - who was given his grandmother's maiden name for a middle name - moved with his family to Delaware at the age of 10 after his father found work there.
Money was occasionally tight enough at home that he once had to use a pair of nuts and bolts as cufflinks.
The younger Biden worked hard to beat a stutter for which classmates picked on him. He graduated in 1965 with a Bachelor's degree in history and political science at the University of Delaware in Newark, and went on to get his law degree from Syracuse University, where his sweetheart Neilia Hunter was studying. They married in 1966, and went on to have three children: Beau, Hunter and Naomi.
In 1972, then 29-year-old Mr Biden unseated Delaware's incumbent Republican senator, becoming the sixth-youngest senator in US history.
But weeks later, while he was in Washington DC hiring staff, his wife and Naomi died in a car accident. "I could not speak, only felt this hollow core grow in my chest, like I was going to be sucked inside a black hole," Mr Biden wrote in his 2007 memoir, Promises To Keep.
It was Jill Jacobs who gave him his life back and made him start to feel normal again, Mr Biden wrote of his second wife, whom he met on a blind date and married in 1977. They had a daughter, Ashley, four years later.

there was some videos and photos going on showing Biden making inappropriates moves on some people. The people themselves in some of the photos have actually clarified to defend Biden but it seems most of these stories go unreported. Not surprised if even some Dems believe that stupid 'creepy Biden' story

Why are you trying to say something that you yourself have acknowledged to be true is false?

And yeah. Jon Stewart called Biden out on it while he was still on The Daily Show. And he's very left leaning.

That's the difference between us on the left and those on the right. We hold everyone to the same standards. Even "the only choice other than Trump".

the guy has ZERO records of sexual allegations. I dont know what more you can ask for. Him sniffing people is just his stupid habit. If you read deeper, he actually does that as a form of affection and whispers encouragement to the kids. It's not like he's whispering, "I'm gonna touch you so bad" or some creepy s***

That's really sad about his wife and two of his kids. Dunno if I could move on from something like that.

theres a guy wound here whos wife and kid died a few months ago and he just gave up completely and lost his job and became homeless. Sad to see. People have tried to help him but he doesnt accept it.

I've met a lot of people in life, and I can say for certain...people inflicted by personal tragedy that come out of it...always come out of stronger. These are the people that deserve to be leaders.
