For the record, I never post on /pol/ in normal circumstances, I just was hanging around there to see the election fallout.

On /pol/ you can say mostly anything uncensored, just as long as its not illegal or pornographic, or evading spam filters, and has some relevance to politics. It was only created as a containment board to keep all of the racist and nazi stuff off of the rest of 4chan (doesn't work out, since it still leaks into /v/), but there is no rule stating that posts must be that way (a lot of threads actually don't contain any of that, and a few threads actually do the opposite, but everyone mocks them). It quickly became the largest single discussion board on politics on the internet.

I got banned for 3 days on all of 4chan for posting a discord link.

I get banned for 3 days all the time (all because the mods would ban you for anything, at any time, for no rhyme or reason).
