• is further quoted saying that he hopes a race war is coming

If he were a manager in a store, he would surely lose his position since he is not qualified to meet the needs of all customers equally. But he's not a manager -- he's a voter looking to elect the president.

Should his right to vote be revoked if we have ample reason to believe that he is voting in accordance with a bigoted philosophy and is actively making the decisions he feels will most inhibit the opportunities of people of color and other minorities?

As long as they are a resident of the country, they should have a vote. Regardless of legality, criminal status or whatever.

Even if it means letting a scummy person like your example have a vote, democracy quickly becomes worthless if you limit it to only "acceptable people"

You can't give people the right to free speech and take away their rights for expressing it, regardless if you like it or not. The fact alone that some people believe Trump supporter = automatic racist means there would be a lot of finger pointing and sabotage attempts towards people and this would never, ever work.

Although I do think every adult should be able to vote, I believe that ideally people should undergo a required test before every major election, in order to ascertain their awareness of current political and societal matters. Based on the results, the voter's vote gets a certain value, so the more aware you are of current factual events, the more your vote is worth.
This way, a country's government is less likely to be elected based on lies/deception/fake news.

The voting age, and the legal age of adulthood for that matter, should be whatever age you start charging people for crimes as an adult. Going to charge a 12 year old as an adult? Then guess what? They are a legal adult with all rights and privileges. Don't like it? Then don't fucking charge 12 year olds as adults.
