I did mail in ballot. Took all of 5 minutes, and the vote was already accepted.

In Texas, you can't vote by mail unless you're disabled or over 65. I got up super early on the 1st day of early voting to vote in person. I was 6th in line.

I wanted to vote by mail but the risk of Trumps goons trying to invalidate my vote + the BMV taking an eternity to update my voter registration made it unlikely I could get my mail- ballot in on time and be confident my voted will be counted.

My city had long lines for early voting too and I would've had to go downtown, in bad weather, as someone who doesn't drive.

Also yeah many states have a lot of pontless barriers and bullshit for early voting.
