My wife's parents, uncles, aunts, etc are all awesome.

My wife has an oldest sister, 12 years older, who is super judgemental, controlling, and annoying. She also happens to be a Trumper. Shes visiting next week. She's the type that will go around the house, criticize every little thing about the interior design, food choices, whatever, make all these suggestions for things that we don't want to spend money on. I'm really good at just having these things go in one ear and out the other. My wife takes it all personally cuz its her sister. She gets annoyed with her too, but she can't tell her not to come over cuz its her sister and also because we wanna see our nieces and nephews who are all actually pretty chill.

Yea i know. I just take all the shit and don't say anything, at least for my wife's sake as to not cause any drama. I don't even vent to my wife. I let her vent to me but I don't take sides. But man, I will be mentally worn down by the end of the week.

Tell your sister in law to piss off and stop being so rude while in your home
