I keep seeing all these voter intimidation videos pop up but I guess that's just how media works these days.

Anyone here get harrassed, witness something ridiculous?

I did mail in voting in september and took it directly to my local voting office for the county I live in. Can't trust the mail right now because my mail is delayed for 2 or 3 days already thanks to Trump and his goons

How does it feel for the Americans in states where the EC has 3ish total votes? Where your vote literally means nothing.

I voted by mail weeks ago and didn't have a problem with the USPS. Of course the mail box I used was right next to the post office. I got an email saying my vote was accepted. It was a smooth process, and I don't think I'll ever vote in person again if I can help it.

I dropped mine off at the ballot box last week. There was some weirdo in a car right by the box, clearly watching me, but I did the extremely awkward thing and just looked back until they left.

As someone who lives in suburban Massachusetts, it was as simple as driving to my local town hall on a weekend and dropping off the ballot that was mailed to me in the clearly marked and provided ballot drop box.

There was once an election that was decided by one electoral vote. You have a greater chance of arguing that voting in a predominantly red or blue state means nothing but even then it still relies on other people voting.

I voted by mail a few weeks ago no problem. My parents, who didn't think to request absentee ballots, were put off by long lines on multiple occasions before finally voting in person.

Dropped off the ballot couple weeks ago at the polling location. No issues, and I've got confirmation it's already been counted.

Did my part to flip Florida, but Florida being Florida, it'll let me down.

I live in a Trump town so they naturally assumed me as a white person I was voting for Trump even though I wasn't. Therefore I didn't get intimidated.

I feel awful for people who don't have this luxury.

this is why voter turnout is usually low. if you're in a hugely republican state and want to vote democrat, there's no point since it'll never turn blue when 99% of the vote is red. shitty democracy in action and a reason to get rid of the electoral college

Dropped mine off in a ballot drop box. I'm in a fairly safe blue state, but the drop box was kinda off the beaten path and it took weeks to show accepted so I did get a little nervous

I never sent my mail-in ballot. So I dropped it in the dropbox at the Supervisor of Elections office. They had it next to the parking lot lane, and dropped it without getting out of the car.

It's better than mail, because it will not get lost, and better than voting in person because there was no long wait, no contact with people, not getting out of the car.
