As it got bigger people would cosplay as their favorite character. Viewers could get up on stage and act out a scene while it was playing on screen. You'd shout out certain words when something specific happened in the film, and some theaters put together packages of items you'd use during certain scenes. On top of all that is the music, especially Time Warp. I've never attended a show but I hear they're fun.
