Mass Effect: I dislike heavy-dialogue games, but I hear there's also a lot of action too. Maybe I should give it a go someday?

You absolutely should give them a go. The only time where dialogue heaviness is really a problem is in the first game when you start out in a fast action paced opening level and then are shuffled to a hub-like area with shit tons of talking.
Anyways... most of the Mega Man games. Think I tried the first one years ago and couldn't get into it. Have only beaten Legends and Command Mission. Huge fan of 2D Mega Man. Could never beat a single game but I recently (2 years ago?) bought the compilation and the save feature allowed me to beat the entire classic collection! --- ... Skyrim. I heard it played like ass on PS3 and I've just never bothered because I'm not a huge fan of giant open world games like Skyrim anyway.
Dark Souls, since I'm a scrub and don't really care enough to be good at games. Most multiplayer online games for the same reason. ... Copied to Clipboard!

none of the assassin creed series
infamous mass effect (some of which can have progress carry over) within some of the games. it's in my backlog on those. mass effect isn't so much scary difficulty wise. just long. infamous for the same reason. assassin creed due to some multiplayer requirements and length. --- Explorers In The Further Regions Of Experience, demons to some, Angels To Others: Pinhead ...
