Buying any kind of hardware on Black Friday is a sucker's bet. Those TVs are made to lower specs with cheaper parts to draw you into stores.

Has this ever been confirmed/proven? I've been using the same TCL I got on black friday three years ago and it's been working flawlessly. Obviously it's a TCL so it's not the best picture or anything, but for the price, it's great.

Holy shit. Thanks for the heads up TC. I just bought a 50 TCL for $280 from Best Buy like three days ago. I thought that was a steal. Im taking that thing back first thing in the morning.

Regardless, having Black Friday sales three weeks before Thanksgiving is not normal. Im happy though. This is the only way Id be able to scoop a TV up. Usually its a madhouse on Thanksgiving so I dont even bother. Im thankful for this surprise sale.

RDR2 and Persona 5 Royal are both tempting.

I'm actually on the fence about P5R since I beat the original and watched a stream series for P5R, but I wouldn't mind revisiting the game eventually. $20 is pretty reasonable for that.
