The song itself was recreated really well using the game's graphics and everything, but the world in general is easily one of the worst in the franchise.

Let It Go had more effort put into it than most things in KH3.

It varies.

In KH1, almost every world's plot was integrated into the main plot of the game, with the Keyholes and Princesses, and the villains cooperating with each other. So even though the world's plot may share some story beats from the original movie, you're still doing wholly new things with the characters and settings so it ties into the KH lore.

Then in KH2, you're sometimes given a brand new story with the Disney world -- like with Beast's Castle dealing with Xaldin, or having Tron help you find the password to Ansem's computer -- and the rest of the time you are just repeating the plot of the movie -- like Jack Skellington bringing Xmas to Halloween Town, or the pirates dealing with the curse of the Aztec gold -- except with things like Pete or Maleficent showing up to change some things. So it's kind of an even split.

And KH2's approach is more or less how they handle the Disney worlds in all games going forward. Sometimes you're involved in the movie's plot, and sometimes you're going on an original adventure with the cast.

The thing with KH3 is that some worlds still have their movie's creative teams around and active, like with Frozen, so those teams have more impact on what can go into KH3 and what can't. As opposed to older stuff like Snow White or even Hercules, where they don't really care. So you get worlds like Frozen, where Sora's entirely disjointed from what's going on, and the plot of the movie is going on almost verbatim in the background while Larxene stands around narrating to you. Because Disney doesn't want anybody touching their most popular characters like Elsa.

Then on the other hand, with the Pixar movies, they don't want KH doing anything that contradicts the movies' canon, but they're fine with them writing original storylines using their characters that take place between the movies. Sora's journey to Toy Box canonically takes place between two of the Toy Story movies, according to Pixar.

Part of it all boils down to Kingdom Hearts becoming less and less niche as the years have gone by, to the point where Disney wants to be a lot more careful with how their characters are used and portrayed in the games. Which, admittedly, takes away a lot of the crossover fun that made the earlier games so appealing.

If you're trying to finish out of due diligence, I say stick it though. It sucks, but there's some closure. I got the Re:mind dlc and just haven't gotten around to getting good at combat again.
