What's even more insane in the Supermarkets.

You got people working in there 24/7 stacking shelves and shit. So the power is on. They are still there doing shit. They are just forced by law against their will to close their doors.

You got a population that wants work.
You got a population that wants to shop.
And you got businsess that want to be open.

But they have to close at 4 by law because "The Christians say so." it's complete horsewallop.

I heard the CEO owner guy of the Entertainer (a crappy toy shop) defend it on the radio one time and he was like "Well my family is Christian and we need sunday to Rest and pray. If we had to work on Sunday then me and my wife would get divorced, we'd have no time for kids and our family would fall apart!"

And it was like:

1. your family sounds terrible
2. Shut the fuck up. That's a reason for YOU not to work on Sunday. Why the fuck does your shitty immature family mean everyone else has to obey your shitty whims like a dog?

It's fucking insane that if it's 5:30 PM and you don't have medicine then you die or are in pain.

Also if you are working on a Sunday you can't shop because they will be closed. So you have to plan your whole week/weekend around it.

Shops should be allowed to trade/open/close when they like. If Christians don't want to go to them or go to work they don't have to do so. IT's so anti-freedom to religiously force the inconvience on everyone else and the population is so used to a right-wing Orwellian that no one even questions it. I'll bring it up to people and they're like "Oh yeah that is really dumb lol but there's no reason to oppose invasion of freedom/trade or theocracy!"

Fuck Brexit, there should be a referendum on this nonsense

See this demonstrates my point perfectly.

People are so used to a used to a right-wing proto-Orwellian state that they just accept this an lie/make excuses for it rather than calling it out.

They even have their own 2 minute hates now. It's absurd.

Saying "Doh pharmacies are excempt" is small comfort to the people whose pharmacies are in Supermarkets.

There was this old lady diabetic lady whose perscription of Insulin was delayed and she thought it was okay because she had some left over and she would pick it up on Monday, but she also has Dementia and was wrong. She ran out at the weekend and was unable to get anymore because her local supermarkets were closed.

Which obviously is fine to you.

Hospitals also won't hand it over for obvious reasons, they don't even want you to go to them. I had to drive to Bedminster to meet her GP and get some from him going out of his way to be helpful.

And to you this is fine because you're unwilling to admit how fucking stupid these laws are.

Answer me, why does a religious group get to determine how a businsess gets to trade?
Why does a shop that want to be open have to be closed against their will?
Why do people who want work have their work taken away against their will?
Why do you people who want/need to shop have that taken away against their will?

It's indefensible and your cowardly lies to pretend it's a good thing are horrific and harmful.

Busisnesses want to be open.

No one is being "Given anything off" they're having it taken away from them
