I think Rambo would do better in a jungle/rural setting, and John Wick would do better in an urban setting

Probably depends. Straight up running into each other fight probably John Wick. Batman time to prep goes to John Rambo.

but anyway, there's too many factors that go into this fight tbh. Does John Wick have resources? Does Rambo already have all his gear and vice versa? Jungle/City setting? Rambo isn't a slouch at a city setting going by first blood but the town was relatively empty

Rambo is a master of guerrilla warfare while John Wick is a highly trained assassin. They both probably have comparable hand-to-hand skills with Wick having the slight edge in unarmed combat,Both are efficient in all types of weaponry. Straight up fight imo it could go either way.

With some time to plan however, rambo might have the advantage due to his handiness in trap making. John Wick might be able to find Rambo before he could set up traps.
