Yep I've been playing it.

I have nothing prepared. I didn't expect to get this far!

So far I've been playing with achievements as my goal. 8 to go I think. Got most of the longer ones like mother of us all done already at least.

Wasted a lot of time trying for Wily as the fox yesterday and accidentally messed it up really early on because I turned Sicily into trinicia/Naples. Got all the other requirements done before I realized maybe I should blindly do things just because they are on the decisions menu, ha.

it's definitely a lot easier to get into than 2. I think I played 2 for like 40 or 50 hours just to understand how to play. This one I can actually feel a small degree of mastery (which is helped by the the fact that the AI is kind of terrible even before you lower the difficulty)

7 achievements left! only 2 that require specific character starts, so gonna try those out first. Eventually I'll have nothing to do but play the game and make up my own goals! Difficult!

id like to, but i have no idea if its easier to understand than 2. I had no idea wtf i was doing and gave up on it quickly.

waaaay easier than 2. It even has tutorial messages and a tutorial. They don't get way deep into the mechanics, but they give enough to get started

Plus unlike vanilla 2, this starts with different cultures/religions that can mostly ignore casus belli and just conquer whatever they want if you feel like it

Mehh... i want to try it, but i'm not gonna drop 40 on a game i have no idea if ill like or not..

oh definitely not. wait till its cheapy steam sale down the road. thats how I found CK2 in the first place

I don't even wanna finish up my achievements. too much crusader kings in too short a time. I'll get back to it later
