I'm sure they're supposed to distract or spook enemies. I'm sure that would freak some regular criminals out, but Bane knows such tricks. They could have did it better though.

I found it annoying af that they didn't even bother to make his voice sound like it's coming from him. They just added a dub voice over all his scenes and it just sounds well, like a dub.
If it's not possible then they should have put some speakers in his mask thingy and let it play while they were filming. Very lazy imo --- Now is the hour! Riders of Rohan! Oaths you have taken, now fulfill them all, to lord and land! ... Copied to Clipboard!
