So, I got my annual enrollment forms in the mail today, so I signed up for healthcare. I have not had healthcare for most of this year because my work benefits were up and I didn't requalify for it because I didn't work enough hours.
However, looking through my old papers, I feel like I DID. I didn't work the 1,500 hours for the "bronze plan" but I did work 978 hours to qualify for other things. So, I feel like I spent most of this year without healthcare because I can't read a fucking form. And I didn't apply for health insurance elsewhere because I assumed it would just cost a ton and would hardly cover anything, so.... If I assumption is correct I did qualify for healthcare through work and I just can't read a fucking form properly and spent most of this year without health insurance in the middle of a pandemic... I really should just shoot myself. ... Copied to Clipboard!

The first two years I had a full time job I selected healthcare that cost me like a couple grand more than my current option.
I cant really help you but if anyone here doesnt go to the doctor and has the option look into HDHP over PPO if you do get a job with one and consider contributing the difference to (or even maxing out) a HSA. And even if you go to the doctor consider paying cash and keeping receipts instead of out of the HSA. ... Copied to Clipboard!
