Can someone explain this game for me? and Wtf is marinating If you've ever played something like Mafia or Werewolf or Trouble in Terrorist Town, it's pretty similar. It's really simple, probably simpler than this explanation: Most of the players are crewmates who are tasked with performing various maintenance tasks on the map. A small minority of the players are imposters who seek to kill all of the crewmates. Imposters are able to instantly kill a crewmate, sabotage various systems, and can quickly traverse the map using the vent system. Crewmates really only have one ability and that's the ability to call a meeting. They can do so either by finding a body of a dead crewmater and reporting it or by hitting an emergency button that's somewhere on the map (the latter is often set to just one use per person). These meetings are the only time you're allowed to talk with the other players, so this is when you provide any evidence and collectively figure out who the imposters are. You can then either vote to kill off a player or skip the vote if you feel there's not enough evidence. Both teams have two ways of winning. The first is the obvious: killing off the other team. Imposters don't need to kill all of the crewmates, they just need to even the teams out. If there are two imposters and two crewmates, that's a win for the imposters because they can no longer be voted out. The imposters can also win through certain sabotages. It's really simple, probably simpler than this explanation: Most of the players are crewmates who are tasked with performing various maintenance tasks on the map. A small minority of the players are imposters who seek to kill all of the crewmates. Imposters are able to instantly kill a crewmate, sabotage various systems, and can quickly traverse the map using the vent system. Crewmates really only have one ability and that's the ability to call a meeting. They can do so either by finding a body of a dead crewmater and reporting it or by hitting an emergency button that's somewhere on the map (the latter is often set to just one use per person). These meetings are the only time you're allowed to talk with the other players, so this is when you provide any evidence and collectively figure out who the imposters are. You can then either vote to kill off a player or skip the vote if you feel there's not enough evidence. Both teams have two ways of winning. The first is the obvious: killing off the other team.
