Do you think it's fair to cut employee wages and benefits for full time employees who work at home?

CEO Satya Nadella have unveiled a "hybrid workplace" plan that allows employees greater flexibility on whether they return post covid in an office environment or not. They can work from home for less than 50% of the working week or request permanent remote work The vast majority now are working from home and the company said they will not reopen offices until at least January 2021 It highlighted in the guidance that some roles within the company will require them to return back to the office such as access to hardware labs, data centres and in person training and will also allow them to relocate domestically or even internationally if their role allows.. But choosing to work from home will also alter their pay AND benefits depending on its own geo-pay scale While home office expenses will be covered, those who choose to move away to cover their own relocation expenses.
