I had the 4 year old niece over here yesterday, my black and white boy cat, when we play, he scratches up my arms pretty good, gives me a good chomp here and there. We roughhouse a bit, and I get damage sometimes. She was all over him, chasing him around the house, she would give him a little shove and run, and he would chase after her and when he got there, completely submitted, rolled on his side, hugged her arm when she was giving him belly rubs and not even putting claws out, not even a tiny nick on her when they were done. I kept telling her be careful, he has claws, and he scratches me up sometimes, and nothing. Between my nephew (no relation just a good friends son) and my step sisters kid he will tolerate anything without even being playfully aggressive.... and both of them will just pick him up and pay no mind beyond what they think he should do. People are so accustomed to cats its like they dont get proper appreciation. Walter tore my calf open once but he was just mad cause I was going out and i fully believe hed never do it to a kid.... ive seen kids practically ragdoll him and hes just like well fuck guess this is what im doing now, beyond that he can tear open beers and hasnt ever bitten me hard enough to leave a mark. But yeah it can still hurt though. He likes to go for the inside of the elbow and thats kinda sensitive and i dont like it. Lol. He also seems to think my feet dont count as part of me and its okay to fucking destroy my bare feet. We've actually had a bit of a tough week as the ultrasound last week didn't show much (which given it was 5 weeks 1 day is understandable), but my wife has lost the tenderness in her breasts and has been spotting (bleeding) the last couple of days, but we went to the doctor today and they said all is good. My wife's the type of person that over analysing and stresses about EVERYTHING, so it's taken a toll on me, but she just said the spotting has stopped and the tenderness is coming back, so she's happy. I'm mentally exhausted, but the football (Australian football) is on tonight, it's the semi final (grand final [our Super Bowl]) is next week, and I finished my uni exams for the year on Wednesday so I said to her sorry, I am getting beer on the way home, getting drunk and watching sports.
