-squeezing dry cotton balls or rubbing two of them together
-Cutting through styrofoam with a knife, or rubbing styrofoam chunks together

-When you're cutting food on a ceramic plate, and your knife/fork slips and smears against the ceramic really hard and makes a loud squeal
