He gets arrested, however there was no proof and very little evidence that he committed these crimes. You believe your sister but it's just her word and speculation. So it looks like he is going go get off scott free. That is until a cop (Ironically called Scott) found a huge amount of highly illegal drugs inside his home. Now the thug faces years in prison on an unrelated drug charge. "Wow, we're lucky. He was about to be back on the streets until you found those drugs." You say "Yeah that's why I planted them there.
