with a stylus and such. i used to draw on the wii u gamepad a lot and it was fun. i'm not a fan of looking at a monitor and drawing on a separate device. feels weird and disconnected

man they're all so expensive. i heard the xp pen ones are good, but i have no idea what exactly to look for. i'd prefer something that was specifically for digital art, assuming that MAYBE it'd be cheaper than other big name ones that are meant to do everything

I started drawing waifus using this tablet monitor:

But I found that it was very clunky and I essentially had to relearn how to draw using it. It's cheap Chinese trash and one day just refused to power on. Either way, I was still scanning my drawings (that I drew on paper) then digitally manipulating them. Learning to draw on the monitor was just to hard for me since I have been drawing on paper since I was a boy.

Honestly, I would invest in a Wacom Tablet as they are the leading brand that many professional artists prefer but GODDAMN are they pricey.

One of my tattoo artist buddies bought a stylus pen for his iPad and tried different drawing apps out and his drawings were looking pretty rad. Probably the most practical option, at least for starting out.

I have a Samsung S6 (not the lite). I can't draw for shit, but it is has good responsiveness with the stylus.
