Basically, I've spent most of my life as thin or skinny (and sometimes very skinny), but a while back I got up to a medium build. Still a healthy BMI, according to my doctor, but even so. I've put myself on my proprietary diet, that I developed 13 or 14 years ago, which basically allows my one large meal a day, and one snack. And that's it. Must be very low calorie. I've been doing this for just over a week. Unlike most people who are dieting, I didn't bother to weigh myself at the beginning of the diet, and am mostly planning to go on visual appraisals. When I no longer look a medium build, but rather skinny, is when I will probably stop. Possibly before. I except this will take roughly two months of this radical diet.

Dieting is horrible, though. Barely eating. If's funny, you find yourself noticing how much you snack during the day, on and off. Snacking is a habit. Thoughts on all this?

Isn't a medium build healthier than skinny? Why do you want to go back?

This is the best way to eat less calories than I burn. It's funny. Exercise obviously burns calories, especially stuff like running and swimming, and yet I've NEVER really lost anything but exercising. So, I only eat a little every day. The food itself is REASONABLY healthy, things like potatoes, vegetables, some meat, and such. Not extremely healthy, but not just junk food, like McDonalds food, or chocolate, and so on.

I suppose I'm aiming to lose about thirty pounds. That will make me skinny, or at least, very thin.

ive been eating 1200 calories every day since march. it ain't so bad. well it was at first, but now if i eat like 1500-1800 calories, i feel like im going to have a heart attack.

but then again, i have like 23% body fat so my body has plenty of energy to use
