If its a game that i sink dozens of hours into and paid nothing for up front, i dont feel the slightest bit of shame spending a few bucks on it.

I dont think i would ever drop 150, but maybe 20 bucks on special items packs? Yeah.

It's kind of a standard Asian artstyle. Using a derogatory term for that does have some questionable undertones especially with the whole "chinese cartoons" phrase that's pretty racist in nature. Having both that and a nerd appealing premise comes off slightly better but I'm still not really a fan of the term.

Oh yeah, $150 is pretty obsessive lol. I wouldn't advocate spending that much on a gacha. Or any amount at all. I really dislike the concept of gacha and consider it very predatory and anti-consumer, to me at least. I also dislike the banning of certain terms they're doing. But if this game can entertain others I'm not going to knock others for enjoying it, to each their own.

I will absolutely shame the fuck out of someone for spending 400 on it lol, as I already did with that dude. But... I'm kind of an ass sometime, so :D

Ive only played about 30 minutes of it. Its not really hooking me, but it does seem polished overall. Its hard to go from Path of Exile to this game, although I do watch some anime.

I dont think I will spend any money at all, but I appreciate that the core game was free.

No, it's saying they're a wannabe or a fanboy. Some people do use it the way you said and those people would be racist but the original definition isn't.

Most people use it the way i said. Very few people use it for the "unhealthy obsession, life revolves around, personality based on anime" type people any more. So few that its not really worth considering.
