for doing 40 in a 25 (I swear I wasn't going that fast, but you know how it is)

that makes the second speeding ticket I've ever gotten, the previous one was in 2011

I really don't need this, I'll be shocked if it's for less than $100

there was a speeding trap near my house a while back. there was this long stretch of road that went from 40mph to 30mph then back up to 40mph.

cop would wait right where it was 30 and catch people who didn't slow down yet.

what an asshole.

Why on Earth would you break the speed limit outside of highways?

You literally can't follow the flow of traffic.

It sucks when it's a road where people regularly go 50 on a 40mph zone, yet for some reason the police felt like targeting someone that night and you were the unlucky ass to get it. *points to self*

Though on the bright side, the officer who gave me the ticket didn't submit it to the courts, so when I went to the courthouse to pay it they dismissed it.

Its part of life man, hopefully its not too expensive, if its local you now know to be careful in that area
