(Figuratively, of course).

So basically I have a bunch of stupid problems right now and no good way to fix it.

First part: work. My job has always been shitty, with the past three years being the worst of it, and this past year has been the worst of the worst. Ever since I officially went full time, there have been far more downs than ups. I work at a grocery store, and when youre a full time employee, they can send you to any store in our chain and theres nothing I can do about it. Without going into too much detail, they have me working at a store thats about 40 minutes away from where I live (compared to my assigned store which is only fifteen minutes away) as a department manager... which I told them a thousand times is a position I did NOT want. I asked them how long I was going to be doing it and it was until they find a permanent person for the position which I guess is never because Ive been there almost a year now the havent even given me a proper raise- just $75 extra a week which, given the fortune Ive spent on gas and car maintenance, hasnt made it worth it.

Second part: Ive actually been taking classes since early last year and Im going to be finishing up in December! Im excited but Im also scared that Im not going to be able to find something that pays what I need with only an associates degree and only has experience working in a grocery store.

Third part: Ive been renting an apartment from my friend whos given me a fantastic deal for the past two years which has been awesome, but because of his own financial issues, he needs to sell. Hes not kicking me out, but I dont want to leave him hanging. Unfortunately, rent is so expensive where I live.

So it all comes together like.. Im being screwed at work, and ideally Ill be out of there at the end of year or early next year. I want to base where I live on where I work, but I dont know where Ill be working. But I need to find a new place. I dont want to commit to a place based on where Im working right now because knowing my luck Ill get moved around again. I also dont make a lot of money for where I live (only about $33,000- most places for rent are $1100 or more). And even if I move somewhere that has cheap-ish rent, if I end up having to drive an hour plus to and from work, then Ill probably just be throwing that money Im saving on rent into gas and car maintenance.

Just... fuck.

I know this is a long post but I really needed to vent.
