Yes and you can do a hell of a lot worse. Especially that time I got hired on as ER trauma surgeon. That week won't ever seem to go away.

You could get sued but I doubt it's criminal unless you're getting kickbacks from the customer for giving such a good deal.

Just quit peacefully. Any pettiness in defrauding/funding/messing with a corporation, no matter how small, burns serious bridges and builds a reputation for yourself in the field.
