First off, the only Karate Kid movie Ive seen was Karate Kid.

-who is the protagonist suppose to be? The series is named after Lawrences dojo and his students are more highlighted, but Daniel was the main character in the movie.

-the entire season was essentially one big coincidence? Daniels daughter just happens to be in a car that hits Lawrences car, which just happens to be towed to Daniels business, where he happened to see his daughter? Or how Lawrence just happened to be in the area to protect Miguel?

1. It's very back and forth, but Johny amd Miguel are the main characters imo.
2. It's a TV show; things fall into place to make the story go round. But yes, it was a coincidence and it leads to an epic S2.
