Whopper at least tastes like real food compared to the overly sweet and artificial tasting big mac. Much like how the Eastern part of North Carolina, the Western part of North Carolina, and South Carolina all have 3 distinctly different regional BBQ sauces (South Carolina especially uses a mustard based sauce), Texas is a huge state that has several regional variations. In Central Texas they usually frown upon the use of sauce, as ideally in that region the flavor of the brisket should be so delicious on its own that the sauce should actually downgrade it.
