Republican Alabama Heifer, Kay Ivey has issued an apology to the survivor of a 1963 Church Bombing caused by the KKK in Birmingham that killed 4 black girls and said the blast was "egregious injustice"...but she WON'T offer any reparations to the woman who is now BLIND in one eye because she can't without legislative involvement

Sarah Collins Rudolph, who is now 69 is looking for compensation from the state for her injuries she suffered at 12 years old in the bombing and killed her sister

Her legal team says the state leaders at the time ENCOURAGED the KKK to use violence against black people and to mount these kinds of attacks

Then Alabama Governor George Wallace stood strongly against desegregation while police commissioner Eugene "Bull" Connor was notorious for his willingness to use violence in combating radical demonstrators, union members and black people

Her lawyers argue she was hounded all her life b the trauma and medical bills mounting

After 57 years, she finally got her apology after hearing from the government as Ivey says "There should be no question that Ms Collins Rudolph and the families of those who perished, including her sister Addie Mae, as well as Cynthia Wesley, Carole Robertson and Carole Denise McNair suffered an egregious injustice that has yielded untold pain and suffering over the ensuing decades. For that, they most certainly deserve a sincere, heartfelt apology. For that reason, i would propose that our attorneys as well as attorneys for the Legislature begin such discussions for reparations"

Ivey wrote there were questions about whether the state could be held LIABLE for the bombing as well

George, Rudolph's husband said they have yet to receive a letter from Ivey on this apology as they didn't know she even apologized. He feels Ivy is WAITING IT OUT until Sarah PASSES so they don't have to pay any compensation

Her legal team were "gratified" by the apology and look forward for compensation she justly deserves

The church was a significant religious centre for the city's black population where it had routine meetings with civil rights organizers such as Martin Luther King Jr

The bombing was the 3rd in 11 days after a federal court order came down to order an integration of the alabama school system that sparked outrage amont the KKK

Most parishioners escaped after the bombing but 4 people were tragically killed as it lead to civil unrest

Rudolph worked as a house cleaner and factory worker but both don't supply health insurance as she says still shes shaken up hearing loud sounds and looking at the scars on her face to remind her of what happened.

Nevertheless, she provided testimony that put the KKK members behind bars where 4 died in prison
