Just loaded it up to play the 3rd DLC and it felt like it was lagging, now I kind of wish I got the game on PC instead

well thats funny. I've been playing everything on my PC at 60/75 Hz and this definitely doesn't feel like that

Which mode are you in? It's unlocked mode is highly variable but it does hit 60 when nothing is happening. It's consistently in the 20s in the high resolution mode though.

I mean those are literal 360 games. And they also ran in the 20s on console when they first came out.

i was in performance mode and it was like playing in a slow motion train crash. I think i've fixed it though, by basically toggling some settings, setting them back to what they were, and restarting the game. Dunno how long until it poops out again though i've only had 2 minutes of gameplay since then

Looks like the same game it's always been since BL1 or have they drastically done something under the hood?

It probably has to do with how much active management the game has. It's more live service than ever and as you can expect Gearbox isn't doing a great job.

The plot
The console performance(split screen is sooooo bad omg)
The constant nerfs
Frequent and small level cap increases that do nothing but invalidate your gear every couple of months
DLC with no raid bosses and no raid boss at release
Content that's only available for a month that you can't access whenever you want, so RIP farming their unique gear

Also they're apparently selling extra skill trees for each character rather than new characters entirely. Which I personally find lame, because 2 and TPS each had 6 characters by the end.
