Then we get to 206, and since we've already eliminated 6 being in the combination, 0 and 2 must be in the combination. Since 682 has one number in the correct place, the current combination is

614 has 1 digit correct, but in the wrong place. It can't be the 6 as previously discussed, and the 1 can't go in the center slot. Only the 4 remains.
