Protests are kicking off after Daniel Cameron, Kentucky's AG announced that only ONE officer was charged with the botched no knock warrant that killed EMT Breonna Taylor..but he WASN'T charged for her MURDER but rather for ENDANGERING NEIGHBORS!!

One BLM Protester cried when the charges were announced as only Brett Hankison, who is charged for wanton endangerment and shooting 10 shots wildly into the homes though they claim NO FOOTAGE of the incident was used even though a photo showed at least one officer had one on him

Crowds erupted in anger and disgust and now Far-Right Groups, Boogaloo Boys and Proud Boys are set to face off with protesters just as the city was put on a state of emergency ahead of the decision.

People were hoping for a manslaughter charge that would send a message to police on corrupt and illegal practices wehre innocent people are killed but the verdict is just another in a stream of laid back sentences for officers who were in the wrong.

He was also given only a 15,000 BOND making it easy for him to set bail

Protesters brought out signs of "Abolish the Police" and "Abolition now"

Ahead of the announcement, Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer announced a 72 hour curfew on the city with the exception of those going to work or seeking treatment

Louisville Police were also criticized for attempting to make the ex boyfriend of Taylor to sign a document stating she was IN on his drug trafficking ring which would have justified the raid.

Hankison faces up to 5 years in the big house if convicted as Sgt. Jonathan Mattingly and Detective Myles Cosgrove were not charged.

Cameron said he wanted the protesters to know that they cannot base a charge on "emotion' and "anger" and said that facts had to be used stating Breonna's boyfriend SHOT FIRST which JUSTIFIED the officers in shooting back and although he was "saddened" by Taylor's death, he said it was NOT their fault..

lmao what great logic. let's do something that isn't justified, and then claim we are justified after a logical consequence to our unjustified action leads to the death of someone.

there is corruption in law enforcement, but it's not 100% corrupt like blm and leftist espouse, it's more around 1% which should indeed be dealt with.

there is also general stupidity which results in a lot of these cases.

imo her death (murder is planned killing) wasn't justified but the cops didn't do anything wrong according to the law, they had a warrant to go in, they went in, shots were fired at them, they shot back.
the issue here is more so no knock warrants than the cops (according to the data we have) and whether those should exist or not is a different discussion

There are a variety of murder charges that do not require premeditation.
