They'll have Jaime fact checking everything through Google, instead of whoever the heck they get as independent fact checkers at cnn/fox or whatever. Honestly, everyone should be pushing for rogan to moderate the debates, I think it would be more civil than on CNN or fox where trump can just insult his way through the debate, as long as rogan doesn't get bodied by trump himself and checks him if he starts acting out, biden has the advantage in this format honestly. Trumps got balls to be up for a debate on the JRE, he's making it easier on biden, and the best part of this is that we'll understand things much better than before because there's a lot of stuff trump can say about how politics works that needs to work with business better, and biden can answer why it's so difficult cuz he's got the experience. Decent out for biden honestly, he should do it.

presidential debates are all about rhetoric, and if the moderator is giving one of the candidates easy passes while being hard on the other, it would go a long way in shaping the public images the two have without really delving into anything meaningful

I'm having a hard time trying to find anything that would be bad about this. Put them in there and let them hash it out. If one of them can't do it then they have no business being president

Yes, that's exactly what it is, because the overwhelming majority of people who are clamoring for Biden to do a debate hosted by an alt right sympathizer who has already publicly voiced support for trump would be shitting their pants in anger if the reverse was ever suggested.
