If you were looking for a new phone.

Even their lowest end model is faster than the best Android phone for 1/3 of the price. There's literally no reason to go with a CCP phone anymore.

Been falling for the Android meme since 2013 because everyone kept hyping it up as being some life changing superior experience buts its been the same shit every time

• get it, all stock apps are trash
• have to look up which music / camera apps are best
• basic texting sucks, no imessage, need to download WhatsApp and convince everyone back in 2013 that they should get it too
• phone still struggles to just effectively do everyday tasks that were a 'given' on my iphone
• get into running custom firmware, spend way too long modding my phone to get it to look how I want it to with custom loaders
• phone still runs like shit even after disabling lots of commonly known power drain apps
• begrudgingly use these shit phones because its like im in too deep

I never had these issues when I had the iphone 3, 4 and 4s. They literally functioned how you would expect a smart phone should without any tedious bs. Even with my Samsung 9 I was still going through all this same bs just to get things right

when it came down to it. "doing what they want with their phone" pretty much just came down to irrelevant shit like using ugly ass skins

An iPhone 1/3 the cost of another phone? I call bullshit. Apple is never the cheapest option.

Android phones have a lot more I can do with them. And while iphones have some good gestures, they also have a lot of user-unfriendly interactions which I can't stand. I also don't like how all their premiere phones are so big. Also, there are several critical apps like Tasker and youtube vanced which are only available on android phones.

tbh literally the only reason I'm not using an iPhone is the lack of a headphone jack. As long as some good androids with headphone jacks exist I might not go back.

I am also however, really happy with my S10e so I'm not looking for a new phone anytime soon. But if Apple is ever crazy enough to put a headphone jack back into their phone (which is never going to happen) I'd 100% buy it.

It's not an exaggeration... there really is a lot more you can do with an android phone. Beyond aesthetic customization. That said, even aesthetics are important: for example, the fact that iphones still don't let you move your apps to the bottom of the home screen is bizarre considering that's the most accessible part of the screen...but that's one of the aesthetic choices apple makes for iphone users which you can't change.

Bluetooth headphones already had good enough quality for 99% of customers before apple forced them. People mainly didn't want them because they didn't want to deal with having to charge them constantly, and because they're more expensive.

And I mean it's no surprise that the market for wireless headphones grew a lot after Apple got rid of headphone jacks in their phones! That's exactly what I'd expect to happen.
