The longer the movie went on the more convoluted it became. By the end, I didn't understand like why some of the main characters weren't supposed to do what they did.

But the acting was good and the soundtrack was good. I also liked seeing a male black lead in a movie that wasn't an all black cast. That doesn't happen too often.

Inception was the same way. Nolan builds these hyper complex time traveling story lines that just get very convoluted very quickly.

Did you see it in theaters or is it available for streaming?

I think I'm going to go see it sometime this week. I haven't been to a theater since before COVID!

I went to the theater. They have good social distancing in place here at theaters.

Now that I've seen it, I can easily see why parts of this movie might be confusing or go over your head. Not sure if I fully grasped everything myself. It's not that the convolution is terribly complicated, but the movie moves at such a breakneck pace with so much information and exposition thrown at you in a short amount of time. My poor grandmother could not follow it at all, but she did enjoy the action (which is mainly why I took her). We didn't even realize it was called "Tenet" because that's the name of the organization that "hires" The Protagonist until I looked it up after the movie. I know they mentioned it, but again, it moves at such a breakneck pace that it's hard to keep track of all the pieces.
