Just put less of an emphasis on it in admissions and put more emphasis on the applicant's experiences, personal statement and interview. None of what I studied on the MCAT was in medical school. I scored in the 20th percentile on the MCAT and scored in the 90th percentile on my medical licensing boards. There are no studies that show a correlation between MCAT scores and practicing physicians. There are only studies that show a *very weak* correlation between MCAT scores and medical licensing exam scores. It is a test to see if you can handle the material or not. Medical school isn't your normal grad school. The amount of shit you have to know is like drinking water from a fire hydrant everyday. And if this does happen, then what about the STEP 1 and STEP 2 exams? Are we going to start claiming minority and affirmative action?
