I don't make a habit of defending the President

but what he's saying isn't actual voter fraud.

Though it can very easily lead to voter fraud. Because if you went and did as he said, it hadn't been counted (yet) and then voted, then you COULD get charged with voter fraud.

He just seems to be digging a hole that he should be climbing out of hole.

I definitely wouldn't take his advice though.

Though I do wonder if they got your mailed vote later in the day, if it'd get discarded once they scanned it and saw your vote in person.

Though like I said, I wouldn't do this

Like I said, I wouldn't do it and I wouldn't tell anyone to do it.

The way he phrased it though passes the sniff test for uninformed people.

I actually had to explain to a friend this past week that federal elections are held by the states >_> and that there's no functional difference between voting in a local and national difference in terms of how the ballots are supposed to work. He actually thought your ballot in a national election went to DC
