Current Events > How long should one have to play a game before they can criticize it?

A lot of games nowadays are long especially open world RPGs and such and it feels like your expected to pour hours upon hours into the game before you're allowed to say it's bad. Even then I imagine some people expect you to beat the game. I've never played it myself but I've often seen people criticize Nier Automata and people will ask how many endings they've got. Like isnt that a long game? If you're not enjoying it why would you want to get multiple endings? If your not enjoying it at that point what are the chances playing it more will change your mind? I feel like even with an 80 hour game if im not enjoying yourself or engaged 3 hours in the game has failed for me.
