Anticipating a lot of "sex" answers here, but I thought it could be an interesting discussion anyhow.

For me, it's usually over walks or little sessions where we'll draw together. Sometimes it's nice to watch or play things together too, but I know we generally have different preferences a good chunk of the time.

I'd say board games, neither of us are competitive, so it's always fun. We usually have a few drinks and talk and reminisce.

Gaming has been a big one, like it's been really nice when we're both playing games on handhelds in bed and chatting and joking about the games. I'm a big film fan but they tend to stick to familiar comforting movies, anyway a lot of those like Ghibli movies we both love and get really into discussing. Also I tell them about the funniest parts of the really weird films I watch which frequently leads to uncontrollable giggles from us both.

My partner is disabled and mostly bedbound, I'm effectively their carer so we don't have the chance to do things outside together but I try really hard to make their life fun and find things we can do together. For our anniversary I made a short and silly visual novel that we played through together.

Oh and playing with our cat, that's a big one

I don't technically have a partner but I have had a complicated off and on thing with somebody for the last couple of years and he still regularly spends multiple nights a week with me, so I'm going to count it. Pre-pandemic shutdowns we would go out and do usual small town things. The movie theater here has real cheap matinee prices ($11 for two tickets) so we saw almost every movie that either of us had any interest in, bowling, that kind of stuff.

In stuck at home mode we've basically ended up with the three things you listed. Couch co op video games is a big one. Then we have tv watching, which for us is largely watching dumb reality tv or competition shows and constantly making fun of them, though that is almost entirely to indulge him. I never thought that I'd be able to have a conversation about 90 Day Fiance, and if he stops coming around I'll probably never watch it again, but here we are. And we also do art together, with the difference being that he's been exploring and getting more into painting for a while and I'm still more interested in drawing. But we'll set up next to each other and listen to music or put on videos about techniques or whatever.

Aw, that sounds really cute. Was it about the two of you?

I made this super dumb storybook for one of my exes when she went on a trip to South America once, about all of the things I imagined could be happening there. It was silly, but I put a lot of heart into it.

I have a specific level of stupid I can tolerate when it comes to reality shows, but there can be a certain guilty pleasure from ones that aren't TOO over the top.

We both like science fiction and fantasy so we like a lot better of shows together. Though his taste for movies and shows is much broader than mine. Hes the kind of guy who will enjoy any movie practically, even if its rated terribly. While I cant move past horrible acting.

We also play WoW together though its been a long time since we played. Weve been talking about getting into it again soon.

The first thing we started bonding over was sharing music with each other through a collaborative playlist on Spotify, it didn't take long to realize we had really similar taste in music but not only that, we appreciated music in much the same way, so when she'd have feelings she didn't know how to put into words she'd share a song that vibed with how she really felt. When we started hanging out in person it was a lot of going out with friends and having drinks or dinner, so it was kind of a venue where we could get to know each other without learning how to talk to one another being super awkward since there were more people to talk to, although some of those instances became us just talking to each other while others were watching lol.

We also both really enjoy hiking and just looking at the trees and mountains and imagining how they all might have their own secret lives, like we'd see a unique tree and make up silly backstories for how it came to be. One of her main activities is roller skating, so I'm learning that right now so hopefully next summer I can skate around downtown with her. She plays videogames, not like an all day gamer but she has really eclectic taste and is the one who introduced me to Night in the Woods. We haven't actually sat down and gamed yet but we're going to start Bloodborne soon since she's never played, maybe this evening actually.

We take turns cooking for one another, this week's theme is nostalgic winter comfort foods since we had a crazy bad snow storm yesterday. Last night I made her homemade mac and cheese with kielbasa and tonight she's making buttered angel hair and spiked hot chocolate. Sometimes we just lie all tangled up and fawn over one another, pointing out the little details we notice that make us feel happy. We'll take photos of each other and see if we can figure out why the other person decided it would be a good picture.

She's my world princess and she treats me so, so well. Like I know I've worked really hard to get to the point where I'm at now, and I worked hard to attract her, but I still feel so lucky to be in her life, but she treats me like she's the lucky one.

I suppose my partner and I both like horror movies too, though he can't handle anything involving eye related gore or the threat of it, which I've discovered is actually pretty difficult to avoid in the genre.

Aw, you two ended up getting together then? That's great! Roller skating is fun too. I'm OKAY, but I'm always impressed by the couples at the rink who are really good. It's like a dance with them.

I really like to cook for my BF, but I wish I could get him to try to cook for me sometime. He eats like a child when I'm not there; lots of frozen foods and snacks all the time. He's pretty good at eggs though.

Also, Night in the Woods is top notch. The writing is wonderful. You should give Florence a try if you haven't by the way; that's my favorite narrative driven game of this generation. The storytelling is incredible.

We both play riichi mahjong and are super competitive about it. I still play regularly these days, but since we had our first kid (had our second in June) my wife has had less time to play. Now that we have 2 kids though, when they're old enough the four of us will play together as you need 4 players for a game.

Tennis is one of the only sports I actually kind of enjoy watching people play, but I'm terrible at it myself, and I don't like having to chase down the balls all the time after losing a point.

*One final bump.
