Guy got his start breaking up the mafia in New York, is largely credited with turning around NYC in the 90s, was fairly popular at the time, and was considered a frontrunner for the GOP nomination in 2008

I mean, he did alot of good as Mayor of NYC, but even back then you could tell he was kinda...quarky. But yeah theres something wrong.

I know what you mean, and it is interesting. I grew up in the 90s seeing this guy in the news often, hearing about what a great job he's doing. I remember him being called "America's Mayor" and was named Time's Person of the Year for the job he did post 9/11. Not only that, he was just so likeable in media appearances (Seinfeld, Letterman, Leno, hosted SNL).
Now he's this disgusting goof, blatantly shilling for Trump. Just an irredeemable clown at this point. It's so strange that someone this low was once held in such high esteem. --- GT: xMythic Go Gators! ... Copied to Clipboard!

I recommend watching the John Oliver piece on ol Rudy. Kinda puts into perspective that he was always kind of an assclown, just now hes a complete joke.
