They both support HDD cold storage (so saving them as a backup to put back to the SSD later) and playing BC games off it. Xbox will have SSD Proprietary Memory Card Expansions PS5 will have a list of supported SSD's that will work that can be installed as additional storage. Nothing available today is good enough.
