Settings
(Scroll down all the way)
About Phone

And it should be there.

If you have an iPhone, sorry can't help

I have Android, I think, but that option wasn't there.

Call someone, friend or family, and their caller id should show the number.

Can't you call or text someone and get the number from that?

Call someone else's phone,your number will come up on their screen and you can copy it from there.

If you can't manage to work this out though any job you apply for may be a bit difficult for you.

I thought of that, but because there's no credit on my phone, I can't make any outgoing calls. And, I can't put new credit on my phone until I figure out or remember my number.

wait, yes you can, do you use those top up vouchers? you just call the top up number on those (it is free) and top up from there, you don't need to give your phone number you just input the voucher pin
