I go to dialysis 3 times a week, so thats $180k a week right there. Yearly it comes out to roughly $10 million a year.

Theres only two competing private companies who offer dialysis, so that makes me think they are charging absurd fees because theres no one to stop them. And what more, all dialysis patients have Medicare thanks to Nixons policy, so they can literally charge the government whatever and of course the government would pay for it.

Doesnt the US spend more on healthcare per capita than any other Western nation anyway? Stuff like this, end stage care for the terminally ill being handled by only 1 or 2 private firms might be reasons as to why.

Yep. Googled it and every graph I see, it's not even close. There's a big gap between the US and the next in whatever graph it is. And your life expectancy doesn't stack up all that well either.

Yep saw that before. Luckily my dialysis unit has better staff then what he portrays the DaVita facilities as, but I know not all facilities are good like mines.
