Not only is ESPN NFL 2k5 a much better football game than Madden 21, Madden 2005 is a much better football game than Madden 21. There really isn't a better word than embarrassing. It's sad that there has been almost no competition since 2004 either. The only major effort was All Pro Football 2k8 (which is the best football game ever made gameplay-wise) and the success of that game probably explains why there has been no other major competition. Maximum Football 2020 looks better than Madden and the developers actually listen to the fans. But unfortunately the developers of that game probably have one ten thousandth of the funding that EA has. Also that game doesn't look like it will be released on PC --- Shenmue II = best game of all time Shenmue = 2nd best game of all time <cite>Damn_Underscore posted [p:944041528] in Madden 21 ... Critics gave Madden games BS scores in the 8-8.5 range saying "it's a step in the right direction" for the longest time.
